The new company tells Citizens' Electric for you.
You have 3 business days to cancel for free after you get the new company's plan papers.
Weekends and holidays don't count.
To cancel, call the new company, write to them or cancel online.
The company must send you a first notice 45 to 60 days before your plan ends.
A second notice must come by mail at least 30 days before it ends.
