Carthage, Illinois

Yes. Carthage buys power for its homes.

The town picked Homefield Energy to sell power to homes. Unless you said no, your home is in the program.

The town's price and the standard price

Prices are for the electricity itself, in cents for each kWh. Delivery charges from your utility are the same either way.

The contract may run past the end date shown. The price is only for the current term.

How to leave the program

  1. Look for the letter the supplier mailed about your town's program. It has an opt-out form.
  2. Fill out the form and send it back the way the letter says.
  3. If you don't have the letter, call your village, city or county office and ask how to leave the program.
